Position - Art Teacher

Location - Salford

Pay - £160-£220, dependent on pay scale and experience

Start Date - 18/05/2026

Contract - Temp to Perm

Prospero Teaching are presently looking for an experienced Art Teacher to come and work within a dedicated Alternative Provision located within the area of Salford.

The school is a Pupil Referral Unit, supporting KS4 learners with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs. This is an excellent opportunity to make a real difference in a nurturing environment where creativity and individual learning needs are at the heart of everything we do.

About the Role:

Deliver engaging and accessible Art lessons tailored to students with Special Educational Needs (SEN).
Support learners in achieving their GCSE Art qualification.
Work collaboratively with staff to create a positive and inclusive learning experienceRequirements:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential, with a specialism in Art
Previous Experience working within a PRU or AP is highly desired
Strong communication skills and a passion for helping students succeedTo be eligible you must:

Hold Right to Work in the UK
Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service OR be willing to process a new application
