Position: Part-Time Art Teacher
Duration: ASAP to July
Days: Three days a week
Based in Secondary School in Andover
Pay: £140 - £220 per day (depending on experience)
Overview:

Supply Desk are currently working with a Secondary School based in Andover that are seeking a part time Art teacher for 3 days a week on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday’s starting ASAP until the end of July 2024.

The role:

Part Time – Monday to Wednesday
You will be required to teach Art to KS3/4 students.
Planning and preparing for lessons which cater to all students
Marking and assessment to recap or extend the students learning as appropriate
Following and promoting the school curriculum and pushing for highest attainment
Pay rates in line with teacher pay scale
About the School: 

The School is a mixed Secondary School based in Andover for students aged from 11 to 16 years with around 900 students in total. Pupils enjoy a wide range of opportunities to develop confidence and character. A wide range of extra-curricular clubs enrich the curriculum. The school has strengthened the teaching of modern foreign languages to encourage more students to opt for these subjects in Year 10. The number of pupils succeeding in these subjects is increasing year by year. The School comes with a Good Ofsted rating and has a supportive SLT that cares deeply for the Schools values.

The ideal candidate will:

Be a committed team player
Proven track record of raising attainment
Be confident and adaptable to different environments
Have strong classroom management skills
Be able to deliver MFL in a fun and engaging way that students can relate 

Current valid DBS or the willingness to obtain one
You will be required to work confidently with Key Stage 3-5 pupils.
