£130-£230 per day dependent on experience

Education Personnel are looking for an Art Teacher that is able to teach Art 5 days a week. The role is for a Full-Time position. There is a possibility of extension or a permanent position. This is an ideal position for all Art Teachers. Art teachers willing to accept M1-UPS1 pay may all apply.

The School

The school is based in the Derbyshire Dales area and is a highly regarded school in the locality. This lovely semi-rural secondary school is looking for an enthusiastic Art teacher with a can-do attitude. The school has an amazing recently modernized site, with fabulous extension plans upcoming! The school already has fantastic facilities both within the Art rooms, such as top-of-the-range artistic materials and equipment, as well as throughout the school. The school achieves excellent results; pupils have exemplary behaviour, and the school offers fantastic CPD. The school is a little larger than average but has an excellent SLT who are prepared to support their supply staff throughout their placements. Teachers of Art will be provided with top-of-the-range equipment to prepare fantastic and engaging lessons.

General duties of the Art Teacher will be:

* Artistic Instruction:

* Design and deliver engaging art lessons across various mediums.

* Foster creativity and self-expression in students.

* Curriculum Development:

* Contribute to enhancing the art curriculum with contemporary practices.

* Integrate art history and cultural context.

* Practical Project Management:

* Oversee hands-on art projects in a safe and inclusive environment.

* Encourage experimentation and exploration of artistic styles.

* Exhibition and Assessment:

* Organize art exhibitions to showcase students' work.

* Provide constructive feedback for student skill improvement.

* Community Engagement:

* Collaborate with local art organizations and artists.

* Organize art-related events for the community.

* Inclusive Teaching and Technology Integration:

* Implement inclusive teaching methods.

* Integrate technology for digital art and multimedia applications.

* Safeguarding and pastoral support
