A dedicated and passionate teacher of Art is required at a popular secondary school in Bolton, to join them on a full-time basis for the full upcoming academic year.You will be required to teach key stage 3 & 4 classes.

This position is five days a week; full time, and is open to ECTs as well as experienced qualified teacher of Art. It is essential that you hold Qualified Teacher Status to be considered for this role.

You will be required to become fully involved within the department & school, like a permanent member of staff, and attend departmental meetings when required, and be available for parents' evenings as well as planning and delivering captivating, high standard lessons that will stretch the pupils in their learning. This school teaches GCSE and has a key focus on problem solving and reasoning skills throughout KS3 and KS4. You will also be required to mark the work and provide feedback along the way, in tandem with AfL.

This is a Good school in terms of behaviour and attitude, personal development and leadership and management. The pupils enjoy the school and respect each other and the staff creating a caring environment for everyone involved. The leaders of the school have high expectation of the students which they rise to, striving for success at every opportunity. EXPERIENCE, TRAINING AND QUALIFICATIONS:

Degree educated with a good classification

Secondary QTS (PGCE, SCITT, B.Ed, QTS, etc)

Previous experience working with young people (which we can reference)

Experience of teaching in a Secondary School (which we can reference)

Up to date Safeguarding training issued in the last year (essential, we can provide the training)

Up to date Prevent awareness training issued in the last 3 years (essential, again, we can provide the training)

Up to date behaviour management & FGM training (essential, however, training can be provided).

TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST:

Hold Right to Work in the UK

Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application at a cost of GBP45.80.

Provide a minimum of two professional references.
