Premier Education Ltd are currently working in partnership with a specialist secondary provision in the Stoke-on-Trent / Staffordshire area who are looking to appoint an enthusiastic and creative Art Teacher from September 2026.
This rewarding role offers the opportunity to inspire young people through creativity, helping students with additional learning needs to develop confidence, self-expression and practical artistic skills in a supportive learning environment.
The successful candidate will deliver engaging lessons that encourage participation and celebrate individual achievement.
Responsibilities
Plan and deliver engaging Art lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4
Differentiate learning to meet individual needs
Encourage creativity, confidence and independence
Monitor and assess pupil progress
Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment
Work alongside teaching assistants and wider support staff
Requirements
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
Experience teaching Art within a secondary setting
Experience supporting pupils with SEND is desirable
Excellent classroom management skills
Positive, patient and flexible approach
Two references covering the last two years
Enhanced Child Workforce DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one
Pay
£140 - £200 per day (dependent on experience and pay scale)
