TeacherActive is excited to collaborate with a reputable secondary educational institution located in Chelmsford. We are seeking a dedicated Art Teacher for a long-term cover position, providing consistent and inspiring art lessons.

Our school is committed to providing students with a comprehensive education, emphasizing the importance of art in fostering creativity, self-expression, and cultural appreciation.

Key Responsibilities: 

Plan and deliver dynamic art lessons that nurture creativity, imagination, and technical skills across various art forms. 
Cultivate a supportive learning environment that encourages experimentation, exploration, and a lifelong appreciation for art.
Engage students in diverse art activities, fostering self-expression and confidence. 
Monitor and assess student progress, providing constructive feedback to support their academic and personal development in art. 
Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices and contribute to the overall improvement of the art department. 
Actively participate in art-related extracurricular activities and contribute to the wider school community.
Qualifications:

A relevant degree in Art, Fine Arts, or a related field.
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification as an Art teacher
Demonstrated experience as an Art Teacher at the secondary school level.
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
A commitment to ongoing professional development and a passion for art education.
