What we're looking for:
Qualified Art Teacher with a PGCE in Art/B.Ed. with QTS
Excellent behaviour management skills
Strong knowledge of art
Willingness to bring new ideas and expertise to our Art Department
Enhanced DBS clearance (or willingness to apply)
Your Responsibilities:
Develop and implement engaging lesson plans to teach art and art history
Manage art supplies and maintain inventory levels
Create a welcoming and inspiring classroom environment
Deliver captivating lectures on art techniques, history, and aesthetics
Guide students in exploring various drawing, painting, and colouring techniques
Inspire creativity by discussing different artistic traditions and techniques
Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback
Organise art exhibitions to showcase student work
