We are working with a fantastic provision in Hull which requires a Fully Qualified Art Teacher full time from September 2024

Start Date: September 2024
Working Hours: 8am to 4pm
Salary: GBP130-GBP150 per day
Permanent position offered after 16 weeks

An exciting opportunity has opened up for an experienced and dedicated teacher of Art and Design to join the team at an alternative provision school in Hull

The Head of Department is responsible for all aspects of the work of the curriculum area or areas which form their designated areas of responsibility. The core focus of the Head of Departments role is raising pupil achievement. Central to this is leading and guiding staff working within the designated curriculum area(s), and, in so doing, fostering an environment within which teaching and learning is the key priority with a desire for it to be of the highest possible quality and each member of the team is able to develop to the full the pupils in our care.
This role is an additional responsibility in Art and Design providing clear direction and a sense of purpose and leading and developing the aims and ethos of the school. This role will be integral to a students experience of school life and will need to take responsibility for student progress and welfare for a year group while contributing to the quality of pastoral care.

We are an Alternative Provision Academy that serves vulnerable students within Hull and the East Riding. Our main site is situated in East Hull.

TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST:

Hold Right to Work in the UK
Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
Provide two professional child related references
