Description:

Array and Export Cables Offshore Logistics & Termination Engineer required for a major offshore wind developer based in the United Kingdom

Responsibilities

Ensuring the maritime logistic for the Array Cable and Export Cable Contractors according to contracts
Ensure a safe working environment offshore.
Ensure implementation of previous lessons learned (LLs) related to the termination scope into the project.
Single point of contact between Termination & Testing (T&T) supervisors, T&T contractor and Technical Scope Manager.
Defining the Package requirements for tendering of the maritime logistics for ECS+T and ACS+T Packages by CON (as required).
Ensure all load-out activities are coordinated with the Offshore Cable Installation (OCI) department and incoterms, tests, hand-over certificates are properly aligned. This include supervision of load-out activities.
Managing logistics for delivery of accessories between the warehouse and construction sites, including Offshore Substations (OSS) and Transition Joint Bays (TJB).
Managing logistics for mobilising supervisors and personal to site.
Making informed decisions quickly on-site to minimise stand down.
Review contractor RAMS for safe and high-quality execution of offshore works.
Review and registration of NCRs in Synergi during offshore termination scope.
Mapping all deliverables and activities related to the offshore termination works.Requirements

Project Manager (PMI) with good understanding and experience of Offshore Construction Management, Termination and Testing works.
Working in a structured and analytic way.
Good communication skills.
Fully GWO certified (for offshore visit, where applicable).
Skills in HV/MV cable jointing/termination (incl. offshore field joints), cable ladder/cleating systems, subsea cable hang off systems, earthing, and bonding of cable systems.
Strong QHSE awareness in an industrial/construction/offshore sector.
Ability to interpret industry standards, TRs and familiar with HVC and FOC testing.
Familiar with high voltage equipment in general, including in array cables, export cables and associated accessories
