Our client, a renowned organisation in the food industry, is looking for a motivated and results-oriented individual to join their team. As an Area Sales Manager, you will be responsible for managing and developing sales within your geographical area. With a strong focus on customer service and profit contribution, you will play a key role in driving growth and achieving targets.
Salary: up to £34,000
Duration: Permanent
Hours: Monday-Friday, 40 hours p/week
Key responsibilities of the role include:
Maintaining and reviewing product knowledge by liaising with suppliers
Building and maintaining customer records and databases
Creating and executing clear journey plans and customer categorisation
Identifying and pursuing sales opportunities in new market sectors
Actively promoting the company's services and acting as an ambassadorTo be successful in this role, you will need:
A valid UK driving licence
Strong commercial acumen and analytical skills
Extensive sales experience and a proven track record
Excellent IT skills, particularly in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
