Hours: Monday to Friday - 08:45am – 17:30pm

Salary: Competitive + Commission

Overview

QVIS Lighting and Security is a family-owned business based in Havant, Hampshire and a well-established manufacturer of CCTV & LED lighting products, that are distributed through the electrical wholesale channel. Due to continued growth and an increased market presence, QVIS are looking for a professional sales individual to sell predominantly lighting products covering the Scotland region. The role, Area Sales Manager will cover contractors, electrical wholesalers and local authorities and strengthen and further develop QVIS’ existing business in this area. We are looking for an individual who shares the same dynamic mindset of a growing and entrepreneurial business.

The Role: Area Sales Manager - Scotland

The Area Sales Manager role is home based, with a focus on managing, maintaining, and developing both new and existing business within the electrical wholesale channel. As a brand ambassador you will have the passion, enthusiasm, and drive to take the business forward, in-line with the business needs. You will be responsible for the P&L and ongoing performance of the area, being fully supported by the internal and external business team in delivering company-oriented growth objectives.

Key Responsibilities: Area Sales Manager - Scotland

* Responsible for the ongoing business and performance within the region

* Develop and increase sales and revenue within the specific region through engagement

* Increase brand awareness and visibility with the electrical wholesale channel

* Develop relationships with contractors, consultants and local authorities

* Collaborate with the wholesaler’s internal and external teams to grow individual branch business

* Monitor and manage all contacts, opportunities, and relationships to meet monthly & annual targets and objectives

* Provide regular feedback to the Regional Sales Manager on the status of actions and current initiatives

* Update and maintain Hubspot (CRM) weekly with projects, quotes and customer feedback

* Responsible account and order management from enquiry to delivery

Your Skills and Experience: Area Sales Manager - Scotland

* Experienced Sales professional with electrical wholesale experience (lighting preferable but not essential)

* Ability to work to multiple deadlines and timeframes

* Possess a high level of negotiation, presentation and communication skills at all levels

* Able to network across various decision makers and influencers to identify customer requirements through engagement

* A professionally presented, confident and self-motivated individual

* Experience and knowledge of lighting products and its applications is desirable, however not essential

* Strong verbal and written communication and negotiation skills

* Full driving licence essential​
