Job Title: Regional Account Managers – Plant hire and Construction Rental Services
Industry Sector: Rapid Deployment CCTV Towers, Mobile CCTV Towers, Construction Rental, Plant Hire, Main Contractors, Sub Contractors, Housebuilders, Social Housing, Care Homes, Car Dealerships, Property Managers, Facilities Managers, Site Managers, QS’s, Quantity Surveyors, Project Managers, Construction and Hire industry
Area to be covered: South East - Surrey, East and West Sussex and South London.
Remuneration: Up to £45,000 + £15,000 Commission
Benefits: £8,400 car allowance + benefits package
The role of the Area Sales Manager – Plant hire and Construction Rental Services will involve:
* Field sales role, providing rapid deployment mobile CCTV Towers
* Targeting the construction sector and also utilities and network rail
* Selling into construction contacts will include; Quantity Surveyors, Site Managers, Project Managers, main contractors, housebuilders and sub contractors
* Proactive new business role, although you will retain all customer revenue, ultimately 70% account management and 30% new business development
* Short sales cycles
* Monthly targets; 30 meeting, 20 quotes and 10 deals
* Competitive tendering and maximising reactive opportunities
* Self-generating leads initially, although supported by BDE team who set some of your appointments
The ideal applicant will be an Area Sales Manager – Construction Rental Services with:
* Construction rental field sales experience
* Ideally 3 years B2B field sales experience
* Plant hire field sales experience preferred
* Construction industry experience although may be open to utilities/ rail
* CCTV industry experience is not essential
* Prior experience of having sold into property management, main contractors or housebuilders would be advantageous
* Contacts within Property Managers, Facilities Managers, Quantity Surveyors, Site Managers, Project Managers may be useful
* Comfortable filling in tender forms/ documentation
* IT/ CRM savvy
* Construction site experience preferred
