Area Sales Manager – Kitchens
Job Title: Area Sales Manager – Kitchens & Components
Industry Sector: KBB, kitchens, bedrooms, doors, accessories, handles, lighting, storage, kitchen retail showrooms, bedroom retail showrooms, carcass manufacturers, builders merchants and distributors
Area to be covered: North West & North Wales
Remuneration: £45,000-£50,000 basic + up to £80,000 OTE
Benefits: Fully expensed car & Benefits
The role of the Area Sales Manager – Kitchens and Components will involve:
* Field sales position selling a manufactured range of kitchen components and made-to-measure kitchens into kitchen retail showrooms
* 65% account management role, 35% new business development
* Plenty of time/ opportunity to on-board new customer accounts
* Responsible for 180 registered customers, approx. 120 of these are active (all kitchen retailers)
* Accounts vary in size from £10,000 to £200,000 turnover (average customer sixe approx. £2,000 per month - £24,000)
* Tasked with 4 customer visits per day, 4 days per week (Friday admin)
* Revenue responsibility for circa £2m, on budget (one of the best areas nationally)
The ideal applicant will be an Area Sales Manager – KBB Kitchens and Bedroom Doors & Accessories with:
* Complete kitchen field sales experience
* Field sales experience having sold into kitchen retail showrooms
* May consider kitchen retail sales experience if combined with previous field sales experience
* New business hunter
* Results driven
* Contacts within kitchen showroom retailers is required for the top end of the salary
* Proven field sales / territory management track record preferred
* Excellent commercial skills
* Fire in the belly
* IT literate
* Resilient hard working personality
