A leading manufacturing firm based in Cambridgeshire is seeking an experienced Area Sales Manager to join their growing European sales team.

The successful candidate will support the European Sales Manager to grow and build relationships with Specifiers, Builders, Contractors and Distributors across Europe.

If you have experience in the manufacturing or construction industry, have a great set of sales skills and can speak one of the following languages additional to English; German, Czech, Slovak, Polish or Dutch then this could be a fantastic opportunity.

We are seeking an ambitious sales professional who is both driven and tenacious. You will be tasked with proactively managing an existing account base whilst identifying and developing new business leads, effectively maximising a range of commercial opportunities.

The Individual – Area Sales Manager:

* Previous experience of selling products into the European market, specifically those mentioned above.

* Fluent verbal and written communication in English and another language – German, Czech, Slovak, Polish or Dutch.

* Previous B2B sales experience in a product based environment.

* Excellent ability to build and maintain strong business relations.

* Proactive and self-motivated with the ability to set and achieve ambitious goals.

* Excellent team player, able to contribute to the success and growth of the European sales team.

The Job – Area Sales Manager:

* Oversee a designated European customer base.

* Develop and implement sales pipelines and strategies in line with company targets.

* Proactively identify and onboard new businesses and distributors.

* Pitch and present to prospect customers.

* Effectively manage existing customers, identifying new sales opportunities.

* Frequent travel across Europe and the UK.

* This is a remote/home based role. You will be required to attend the office once or twice a month (Peterborough) for team meetings and training.
