Location: South West London or West London - field based role

Salary: to £40k basic, uncapped OTE c £60k, car/car allowance, laptop, mobile phone, company share buy in scheme, 1 day volunteering pa, free parking on-site at H/O

Aspire Jobs are working with our client who are one of the UK's largest independent wholesaler covering Hospitality, Catering, Leisure, Education and Contract cleaning sectors.

As an Area Account Manager, you will be appointed your own internal account manager to help you manage your clients in and around London - some of which are famous and luxurious eateries, and will work as a team to hit your targets. You will be ambitious and motivated and be happy targeting and converting new business (60%) and then account managing around 40% of your time.

The Area Account Manager role would suit a hungry, ambitious business development field sales rep who wants to work for a reputable business and who is happy to be out on the road. You will be comfortable reporting on sales figures to your Manager and MD. You will also be selling promotions & future developments & new product at times to clients alongside this you will work closely with prospective & existing customers and, by understanding their needs, you will develop, support & grow business.

The successful Area Account Manager will

* Have proven experience in a field sales role, experience in similar field is advantageous

* Be happy prospecting new business

* High experience at driving revenues across new and existing business

* Highly collaborative across multi-functions

* Excellent negotiator

* Be a good communicator who is customer focused

* Target driven

* Able to work alongside an Internal Account Manager to deliver results against targets

* Able to demonstrate an ability to build excellent working relationships with both external customers

* Excellent time management and planning skills

* Self-motivated and able to work on own initiative

* Customer focused but commercially aware of business needs

Responsibilities of the Area Sales Account Manager:

* Confident, reliable, successful Account Manager with the ability to demonstrate a solid, well-thought-out and clear sales process.

* Excellent customer relationships, with evidence of growing and retaining an existing client base.

* Hunter mentality with a proven track record of driving and delivering New Business.

* Driven to hit Monthly and Annual targets.

* Be across new products brought to market and be confident in selling the Features and Benefits to existing and new client base.

* A methodical planner, be on top of quotations, pipeline with evidence of closing regular business.

YOU MUST HAVE A CLEAN (ISH) DRIVING LICENCE
