Description:
Role
I am recruiting for an Area Sales Manager to sell playground and outdoor play equipment across Essex, Suffolk, Norfolk, Cambridgeshire, Bedfordshire, Northamptonshire and South Warwickshire.

Develop sales across an established territory with significant growth potential.
*
Sell timber and steel playground equipment, including slides, swings, climbing frames and adventure trails.
*
Promote safety fencing and playground surfacing solutions.
*
Build relationships with local authorities, parish councils, schools, leisure centres, parks, community groups and caravan parks.
*
Identify new business opportunities and develop existing customer accounts.
*
Prepare and submit tenders, managing projects from initial enquiry through to order.
*
Manage sales opportunities ranging from £4,000 to £300,000.
Ideally based centrally within the territory, around St Ives, St Neots, Saffron Walden or Bury St Edmunds.

Able to develop customer relationships and grow an underperforming territory.

Experience selling to local authorities or schools would be beneficial, but product background is not essential.
Salary and Benefits

£37,000–£44,000 basic salary.
*
Salary review twice a year.
*
Uncapped monthly bonus, paying 1% on qualifying installations against timber and steel equipment targets.
