Field based role selling construction products to housebuilders and local authorities. Full training provided, construction experience not essential.
Area Sales Manager - Construction Products - Field Sales
Area: Sevenoaks / Redhill / Crawley (TN, RH, ME, CR, GU, BN, CT, BR, DA, SM, KT)
Covering Kent, Surrey and Sussex, including Sevenoaks, Redhill, Crawley, Maidstone, Croydon, Guildford, Brighton, Tunbridge Wells and Canterbury
The Role
* Field based Area Sales Manager role covering a South East territory across Kent, Surrey and Sussex, working from home
* Selling a range of specialist construction products and building products into the new build housing market
* A mix of account management and new business development, growing existing customers while winning new ones
* Engaging housebuilders and local authorities early in the project cycle, before buying decisions are made
* Managing construction projects through the full sales process, from first contact to order
* Planning your own diary and running the territory independently, with regular face to face customer visits
* Backed by an experienced sales management team providing full product training, coaching and ongoing development
* Growing revenue and market share across the territory against agreed sales targets

The Candidate
* Field sales or external sales experience gained in any B2B sector, whether your current title is Field Sales Executive, Sales Representative, Account Manager or Business Development Manager
* Track record of hitting sales targets through account management and new business development
* Comfortable building relationships with customers at all levels, from site teams to senior decision makers
* Commercially minded, proactive and self motivated, used to planning your own diary
* Strong communication and organisational skills
* Construction or building products sales experience is an advantage but not essential, as full training is provided
* Based within easy reach of Sevenoaks, Redhill or Crawley

* Basic Salary: up to £45,000
