About the Role
KBB Recruitment are delighted to be representing a leading kitchen manufacturer in the search for an experienced Area Sales Manager. This is a well-established and high-performing territory with a strong portfolio of existing accounts, alongside significant scope for further growth.
You will take full ownership of the region, managing and developing relationships with independent kitchen retailers while identifying and securing new business opportunities across the North East and Scotland. This is a highly visible role, ideal for a commercially driven individual who enjoys building long-term partnerships and representing a premium brand.
Key Responsibilities
Build, develop, and maintain strong relationships with independent kitchen retailers
Conduct regular showroom visits and business reviews, presenting new products, finishes, and promotions
Secure new showroom display orders and drive brand presence across the region
Act as the primary point of contact for retailers, ensuring a high level of service and support
Identify and convert opportunities to win business from competitor brands and expand the retail network
Work closely with internal teams, including marketing and senior management, to support regional growth initiatives
Stay informed on market trends, competitor activity, and wider industry developments
About You
Proven field sales experience within the KBB or kitchen manufacturing sector
Established relationships with independent kitchen retailers (highly advantageous)
Strong understanding of kitchen design, product specification, and showroom environments
Confident communicator with excellent presentation, negotiation, and influencing skills
Proactive, self-motivated, and target-driven, with a resilient and solutions-focused mindset
Highly organised with the ability to manage time effectively and work autonomously
Competent user of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook)
Full UK driving licence with flexibility to travel across the North East and Scotland
