Job Title: Area Manager (Supported Accommodation Young People)
Salary: £38,230.40 per annum
Location: Covering homes in Halifax, Castleford and Doncaster
Type of Job: Full time and permanent
Hours: 40 hours per week (Mon to Fri)
We are looking to hire an Area Manager to cover Yorkshire supported accommodation homes. This is a hybrid role with 2 days working from home. The company offers safe, supportive environments for 16+ unaccompanied asylum seekers, homeless youths, and care leavers. The facilities include mainly flats (24 hour) and a Hub, operating from Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM.
The Role: Area Manager
As an Area Manager, you will oversee homes in Halifax, Castleford, and Tameside. Your key responsibilities will include:
Leading and inspiring teams across multiple locations.
Ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and safeguarding standards.
Building positive relationships with staff, young people, families, and external stakeholders.
Managing priorities and meeting deadlines effectively
Area Manager Requirements
Diploma Level 5 in Children, Young People, and Families Management.
Minimum 3 years’ managerial experience in children’s social care or supported accommodation.
Strong knowledge of regulatory requirements, legislation, and best practices.
Exceptional leadership, communication, and organisational skills.
Flexibility to travel regionally with a driving license and access to a vehicle.
