Area Manager

Description:

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an inspiring and commercially focused Regional Retail Operations Manager to lead the performance and development of a charity's retail network across a designated area in the South.
The role offers a home/HQ-based working arrangement, with the HQ located in West Oxfordshire, alongside regular travel across the regional store network.
Working closely with the Senior Leadership team, the successful candidate will drive sales and income, support regional growth and build strong relationships across stores and local communities.
Key responsibilities include:
? Leading, motivating and developing Store Managers, staff and volunteers.
? Driving sales, Gift Aid, donations and overall store performance.
? Maintaining high standards of customer service, presentation and stock management.
? Building strong community and business partnerships to increase awareness, donations and footfall.
? Supporting new store openings and regional growth opportunities.
? Ensuring stores operate safely, efficiently and in line with charity policies and procedures.
The ideal candidate will combine commercial credibility with warmth, empathy and purpose, with the ability to operate confidently at both strategic and operational levels.
