The Role
As an Area Cleaning Manager, you will have overall responsibility for the successful delivery of cleaning services across multiple locations, ensuring contractual, operational, and client expectations are consistently achieved.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage cleaning operations in line with contract specifications, budgets, KPIs, and client expectations
* Develop and maintain strong relationships with key client stakeholders and operational teams
* Manage subcontractor performance and ensure service delivery standards are maintained
* Oversee vetting, onboarding, and compliance processes in line with airport governance requirements
* Conduct regular site visits, audits, inspections, and performance reviews
* Monitor service quality and implement corrective actions where required
* Lead account development and continuous improvement initiatives
* Produce accurate management reports, performance updates, and client documentation
* Support business growth through strong account management and customer retention
About You
We're looking for a commercially minded facilities management professional who thrives in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment.
Essential Skills & Experience
* Proven experience as an Area Cleaning Manager, Regional Cleaning Manager, or Account Manager within FM Soft Services or Contract Cleaning.
* Experience managing stakeholders, clients, subcontractors, and operational teams
* Strong organisational and administrative skills with excellent attention to detail
* Outstanding communication and relationship-building abilities
* Commercial awareness with experience managing budgets, costs, and profitability
* Ability to analyse performance data and drive continuous improvement
* Flexible approach with willingness to travel regularly between sites
Suitable Backgrounds
