Salary: £34,000 - £38,000 (dependent on experience)
A respected architectural practice based in Croydon is looking to appoint an experienced Architectural Technologist to strengthen its expanding team. The role:
Produce detailed technical drawings and coordinated construction information across a range of projects
Develop technical designs from planning approval through to construction and completion
Prepare Building Regulations packages and ensure compliance with current UK legislation and industry standards
Create and maintain project models and documentation using Revit
Liaise with clients, consultants, contractors and wider project teams to coordinate technical information
Attend design team meetings and site visits as required
Support the successful delivery of projects by resolving technical issues and maintaining high-quality documentation
Manage multiple projects effectively, ensuring deadlines and quality standards are consistently achieved
About you:
Degree, HNC or HND in Architectural Technology or a related discipline
Proven experience working as an Architectural Technologist within a UK architectural practice
Strong technical knowledge of UK Building Regulations, construction detailing and building systems
Proficient in Revit, with the ability to produce high-quality technical documentation
Experience delivering residential projects; commercial sector experience would also be advantageous
Excellent communication and coordination skills, with the ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team
Well organised, proactive and able to manage competing priorities
Full UK driving licence
