Architectural Technician / Warrington
My client is a growing housebuilder delivering approximately 750 homes per year and working with respected partners. With six live developments on site, four recently completed schemes, and a further three projects progressing through planning, the business continues to expand and is looking to appoint a Senior / Architectural Technician to join its established architectural team.
The Role
Reporting into the Architectural Manager, you will play a key role across the full project lifecycle, contributing from RIBA Stages 0–6. This is an excellent opportunity to join a collaborative technical team and make a significant impact on a growing residential development portfolio.
Key Responsibilities
Produce and develop standard house type portfolios and technical details in line with current Building Regulations and industry standards.
Create site-specific block plans, elevations and prototype house designs.
Support planning submissions, street scenes, materials plans and boundary treatment details.
Coordinate with external architects, consultants and internal stakeholders.
Attend site visits, client meetings and resolve technical queries.
Assist with discharge of planning conditions and technical approvals.
Review consultant information to ensure compliance and accuracy.
Explore modern methods of construction and renewable technologies to support future housing standards.
Collaborate with engineering and technical teams to deliver efficient and practical design solutions.
Requirements
Experience working across RIBA Stages 0–6.
Strong residential development experience.
Excellent technical detailing and drawing production skills.
Ability to manage multiple projects and work collaboratively with internal and external teams.
Sound knowledge of Building Regulations and current legislation.

Salary up to £55,000
