A fantastic opportunity for an Architect to join the Residential and community team of a well established multidisciplinary consultancy in Bristol.
The team works across a varied portfolio of residential and community focused projects, including new build, refurbishment and existing buildings. This is a great role for an Architect who enjoys being involved throughout the project lifecycle rather than specialising solely in either design or technical delivery. The consultancy has been operating successfully for over 50 years, with an outstanding reputation for staff retention, many employees have built long term careers, supported by structured mentoring and clear progression routes.
They are looking for someone with a couple of years' post-qualification experience who can bring a good balance of design, technical and project delivery experience, working confidently in Revit and collaborating with clients and multidisciplinary consultant teams.
The Role:
Working across projects from concept through to technical delivery and construction
Developing design proposals and planning information
Producing coordinated architectural and technical information in Revit
Preparing and coordinating Building Regulations submissions
Working closely with clients, consultants and internal disciplines
Coordinating structural, MEP and other specialist design information
Attending client, design team and site meetings
Supporting projects through construction and responding to technical queries
Taking increasing ownership of projects as your experience develops
Requirements:
ARB registered Architect with ideally 2+ years PQE
Strong all-round experience across different RIBA stages
Good Revit experience preferred
Confident design and technical ability
Good knowledge of UK Building Regulations
Experience coordinating consultants and multidisciplinary information
Residential or community-sector experience would be advantageous
Strong communication and organisational skills
This is an excellent opportunity for an Architect who wants genuine all round project exposure within a supportive and established consultancy. You’ll have the opportunity to work across varied schemes while continuing to develop your project-running, design and technical experience.
Strong reputation for developing people internally and offers clear opportunities to progress as your experience grows
