Arboriculture Trainer (Online Delivery)

£35,000 - £41,000 + 0.8 FTE / 4 Day Working Week (pro-rata £28,000 - £33,000) + Remote / Home-Based + Autonomy + Training into Teaching + Enhanced Holidays + Enhanced Pension

Remote Role with some travel for events as needed.

Are you from an Arboriculture background and looking for the opportunity to pass on your knowledge to assist aspiring learners in gaining their Arboriculture qualifications, in a role where you can get full training into teaching whilst having genuine autonomy in a remote position for a leading training provider/

On offer is a secure, permanent position within a well-established land-based education provider, where you will deliver engaging online teaching and assessment while playing a key part in curriculum quality, standardisation and continuous improvement.

You will be joining an organisation known for specialist provision and strong industry alignment. As a result of continued programme delivery and development, they are now looking to add an experienced Arboriculture professional to strengthen their HE team.

In this role you will deliver and assess HE Arboriculture programmes, produce schemes of work and assessment strategies, track learner progress and provide timely feedback. You will also support tutorials, recruitment and learner progression, attend agreed campus sessions in Preston and collaborate with colleagues through standardisation, curriculum planning and best-practice sharing.

This role would suit an Arboriculture Senior Lecturer or experienced Arboriculture professional with HE delivery experience, looking for a role offering autonomy, professional development and the chance to make a genuine impact on learners.

The Role:

Online delivery of Higher Education Arboriculture programmes (Level 4+)
Planning lessons, assessment strategies and providing feedback to learners
Tutorials, learner support and monitoring progress against targets
Curriculum development, internal verification / standardisation and quality activities
Predominantly home-based with agreed travel to Preston campus and events

The Person:
MSc in Arboriculture or a related field.
Teaching qualification (PGCE / Cert Ed or equivalent) or willingness to achieve, plus Level 2 English and Maths
Industry experience working within Arboriculture
