Role Overview: As a Secondary Art Teacher, you will have the opportunity to inspire and guide students in their artistic journey. You will plan and deliver dynamic art lessons that engage students, encourage experimentation, and promote artistic expression. From painting and drawing to sculpture and digital art, you will introduce students to a diverse range of techniques and styles, fostering their creativity and helping them discover their unique artistic voice.
Requirements:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
Strong subject knowledge in art and design
Experience teaching art at the secondary level
Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain)
Passion for fostering creativity and artistic exploration
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to support and motivate students of varying abilities
Live within close proximity of the area
