Description:

This is a position for an Accounts Receivable Supervisor to join the Accounting & Finance team within the FMCG industry. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the accounts receivable team and ensuring that all financial transactions are processed accurately and timely.

AR Supervisor (16 month FTC)

Manage Ledger, debit notes through to resolution and payment allocation for all customers
Allocate customer account responsibility to the AR team members and set performance KPI's
Review all ledgers and offer guidance and assistance to the AR team where needed
Assist Finance Manager with annual audit AR requirements
Deal with relevant customer enquiries and challenges and make sure that the team resolve in a timely manner
Pre and post approval manual credits/invoices for discounts and rebates, in line with SOX's compliance
To obtain the appropriate credit limits for retail customers using Experian and ensure limits are applied to ERP system
Manage the "On Hold" and "Release" authorisation process.
Ensure invoices, credit notes and statements are sent out to customers quickly to minimise the risk to cash flow
Ensure all receipts are posted in a timely manner and allocated as per any remittances.
Review procedures, policies and standards for the AR department to ensure we remain up to date and as effective as possible

A successful AR Supervisor (16 month FTC) should have:

Ideally, someone who is immediately available and/or on short notice
Strong exposure to Accounts Receivables and team supervisory responsibilities
Have management experience or the skills and ability to lead and motivate a team
Good communication skills; numeracy, literacy and IT skills including Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint.
Knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics 365 is preferred although not essential
Good time management and prioritisation skills
Self-starter, team player, dedicated and committed
Listening skills, to understand exactly what customers, staff and business requireJob Offer

Salary: £35,000 - £38,000 per annum
Hybrid Working - 4 days in the office in Hayes
Flexible working (Start and finish time negotiable)
16 months FTC, with potential to go permanent
