Rullion are looking to recruit for the following role for our of our global leading Energy clients :

APQP Manufacturing Engineer
Location : Worcester , UK WR4 0AD
ASAP Start
Duration: 6 months initially (Although the role is likely to be extended)
Inside IR35
Rate £25-35 per hour

A Snapshot of Your Day:

The Manufacturing Engineer will be responsible for technical support of components through the MSL New Product Introduction (NPI) process. They will interface with the NPI team and the shopfloor technicians to create part specific manufacturing instructions for processes such as laser part marking, fettling, grit blast and WEDM. Additionally, they will interface with the process engineers to develop template work instructions, which contain and control KPVs as necessary.

How You'll Make an Impact:

Create part specific manufacturing instructions for processes such as laser part marking, fettling and grit blasting.
Interface with various teams to create template work instructions.
Support continuous improvement by updating work instructions to improve process capabilityWhat You Bring:

Experience of engineering within a Manufacturing Environment.
Basic ability with CAD (NX or similar).
Experience creating manufacturing routings and work instructions
Competent in MS Office.
Comfortable discussing, explaining, and debating complex technical problems within a cross functional team.

About the team

You will work within the engineering team, which comprises Additive and Subtractive Manufacturing expertise, in addition to Metrology expertise. You will also work closely with the operations team and process engineering, encouraging customer focus in our engineering activities and right first time. MSL provide manufacturing solutions to the Laser Powder Bed Fusion part manufacture requirements of the Aerospace and Gas & Powder industries.
