⚡ Installation & Maintenance
We’re recruiting for an experienced Approved Electrician to join an established and growing Building Services contractor in Aberdeen.
This is a varied role covering both electrical installations and maintenance across commercial and industrial environments. You’ll be responsible for delivering works to a high standard while supporting apprentices and liaising directly with clients and site teams.
The Role
⚡ Carry out electrical installations in accordance with BS7671 and current Building Regulations
???? Planned preventative maintenance (PPM)
⚡ Reactive maintenance, fault finding and repairs
???? Inspection, testing and certification of electrical systems
???? Complete accurate reports, certificates and compliance documentation
???? Support and supervise apprentices and junior electricians
???? Liaise with clients and site managers to ensure works are delivered effectively
???? Review engineers’ reports and assist with pricing remedial works
???? Participate in an on-call rota, currently approximately 1 in 3
What We’re Looking For
✅ SJIB Electrician / Approved Electrician status or equivalent
✅ 18th Edition Wiring Regulations
✅ ECS Gold Card
✅ Commercial or industrial electrical experience
✅ Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills
✅ Good understanding of Health & Safety
✅ Full UK Driving Licence
➕ C&G 2391 Inspection & Testing preferred
➕ EV experience desirable
➕ IPAF 3a & 3b desirable
