Apprentice Welder Fabricator

Location: Peterborough

Our client is looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Apprentice Welder Fabricator to join their growing team in Peterborough.

This is an excellent opportunity to start a career in engineering, gaining hands-on experience while working alongside skilled professionals. You'll receive on-the-job training, develop valuable fabrication and welding skills, and work towards a recognised qualification.

What You'll Be Doing

Learn how to fabricate and weld a variety of metal components.
Assist with the manufacture and assembly of bespoke engineering products.
Learn to read and interpret engineering drawings with guidance from experienced colleagues.
Use workshop tools and machinery safely and effectively.
Develop MIG and TIG welding skills to industry standards.
Support the fabrication team to ensure projects are completed on time.
Maintain a safe, clean, and organised working environment.

What We're Looking For

A genuine interest in engineering, welding, fabrication, or manufacturing.
A willingness to learn and develop new skills.
Good practical skills and attention to detail.
A positive attitude and strong work ethic.
The ability to work well as part of a team.
GCSEs (or equivalent), including Maths and English, are desirable.
