Apprentice Technician role in Southend-on-Sea, Essex!
The ideal Apprentice is seeking a genuine opportunity to get a foot in the door and develop into a long-term career path, with training focused on progressing from very basic servicing through to structured workshop responsibilities.

Regular workshop refreshments providedDuties of the Apprentice Technician:
Assist with scheduled servicing and carry out basic servicing tasks as directed
Support fault diagnosis under supervision and follow diagnostic procedures correctly
Maintain high standards of vehicle safety and quality control during allocated work
Complete accurate documentation for work undertaken, including job cards and checklists
Work efficiently within the team to support workshop targets
Keep developing technical knowledge relating to current vehicle systemsRequirements of the Apprentice Technician:
The Apprentice Technician should be in their second or third year at college, or newly qualified following college
Full driving licence is essential
Relevant qualification, ideally NVQ 2 (NVQ 1 will be considered)
Strong technical interest and a methodical approach to tasks
Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a workshop environment
Good communication skills and a team player attitude
