An exciting Opportunity to join one of the Leading Social Housing providers in the South West to manage, develop and support their Digital &IT Applications Systems Portfolio providing robust, resilient and fit for purpose applications to support the Association in achieving its business objectives.
This is a permanent opportunity with Hybrid Working based in Plymouth (2 days per week in the office)
The principle functions of this role include:
* Management and support of the corporate business and information systems applications portfolio.
* Prioritisation, scheduling and resourcing in response to ‘business as usual’, incident/problem/change management and project delivery requirements.
* Account and financial management of third party suppliers/vendors and internal application owners.
* Management and development of the Applications Support team.
* Support the planning and delivery of the Digital and IT Programme
You should have a strong background in Application Support at a management level, extensive experience of implementing and upgrading major business applications and experience of Systems Analysis.
Ideally you should have experience of:
* Scripting.
* Microsoft SharePoint.
* DBA
* MS SQL Server.
* Oracle.
* MS365/Azure
* Cloud based services
* Prince 2 / MSP or similar.
* Awareness of both Waterfall and Agile methodologies.
