A market leading organisation are looking to add an Applications Engineer to join their growing R&D team based in Southampton, Hampshire.
This company develop state-of-the-art complex products and are sold all over the world. They are market leaders in their industry and are growing year on year. Due to growth, they are looking to add an Applications Engineer to their team.
As an Applications Engineer you will assist with the development and integration of the company's product into customer devices. The primary aim of the role is to provide support to both colleagues and customers to ensure the optimal solution is achieved. This will take the form of testing and evaluating internal developments, directly supporting customer design-in activity as well as design and development of the tools required to integrate product effectively.
The Applications Engineer must have:
BSc or BEng Electronics/Computer Science/Software Engineering (or a similar relevant subject)
Experience of firmware/software development.
Experience of scripting with Python.
Electronic circuit design.
Prototype development.
Customer-facing experience.
