Description:
Applications Engineer / Service Engineer / Product Specialist required to join a global manufacturer of machine tool accessories and precision tools such as tool holders, measuring instruments, shrinking technology and cutting tools as well as other products used in manufacturing and precision engineering.
The Applications Engineer / Service Engineer / Product Specialist will be home based, covering the Midlands, and will be required to technically support customers with product training, pre-sales and after sales support, machine installations and presenting at exhibitions.
Applications Engineer / Service Engineer / Product Specialist will ideally be based around the Midlands or surrounding counties and have knowledge of engineering products, CNC machine tools / machining accessories, metrology, CMM's, measuring instruments, shrinking technology, industrial measurement equipment, precision tools, tool holders, cutting tools or similar engineering products used within a CNC / Machining environment.

Role
Provide technical product support to customers across the midlands and surrounding areas.
Working from home, you will meet customers across the midlands and surrounding areas with further travel required if necessary.
Deliver training courses on products such as CNC machine tools / machining accessories, metrology, CMM's, measuring instruments, shrinking technology, industrial measurement equipment, precision tools, tool holders or cutting tools
Training customers on equipment
Attend showroom-based demonstrations
Remote support
Pre-sales and after sales support
Perform customer-facing technical demonstrations
Providing technical product advice, sales, demos and training on a range of equipment
Attend Exhibitions and trade shows
Requirements
Previous experience as an Applications Engineer, Service Engineer, Product Specialist or similar
This would suit someone who is an Application Engineer / Service Engineer currently or with a hands-on background using CNC machine tools / machining accessories, metrology, CMM's, measuring instruments, shrinking technology, industrial measurement equipment, precision tools, tool holders, cutting tools or similar engineering products used within a CNC / Machining environment.
An engineering qualification or apprenticeship would be beneficial
Full UK Driving License
