Permanent Contract working for an Electrical equipment Manufacturer operating in the commercial and Industrial sectors.

Excellent opportunity for an electrically trained / experienced Application Engineer seeking a project-based role for an expanding manufacturer in Telford.

This is an exciting role responsible for ensuring that build projects are successfully planned, designed, manufactured, tested, and delivered.

If you have electrical experience with good organisational and communication skills this role will be of interest.

Due to continued sales growth the company is expanding their engineering function and looking to attract new talent into the business to join a positive existing team. The successful Applications Engineer will fulfil the following duties -

Checking and creating basic CAD designs of electrical schematics of LV Switchgear and Electrical Distribution equipment
Issuing drawings, specifying parts, and preparing BOM
Preparing instruction packs for Production
Liaising with clients and maintaining contact with updates
Providing technical support to production
Liaising with clients throughout project to include product test and sign off

As Applications Engineer you will have the following experience

Electrical or mechanical qualification 
Good Electrical or Mechanical apptitude
Strong communication and organisational skills
Understanding of 2D CAD drawings
Project or process engineering
Component specification skills and ability to produce Bill of Materials
Technical Support and Customer account management
Current or previous roles you may have held include Sales Engineer, Production Engineer, Tendering Engineer, NPI, NPI Engineer, Project Engineer, Technical Engineer, Technical Support.
