Salary: £30,000-£40,000

Type of Contract: Permanent, Full time
Hours: 37.5 Hours Per Week
The role…
As the Applications Engineer your role will involve the following important duties:
Translate the customer requirements into coherent and accurate technical specifications.
Implement the customer technical requirements into the system using real-time embedded development through CODESYS, Matlab/SIMULINK
Installation and commissioning.
Working at customer sites or remotely to support the installation of developed solution.
Use JIRA to manage all aspects of project management.
Travel to customer site may amount to 40% of the total time within the role.
The experience required…
As a successful Applications Engineer, you will have the following:
Minimum 5 years of real-world programming experience using CODESYS, Matlab/SIMULINK
Minimum 5 years experience using CAN-bus and higher-level CAN-bus protocols
Knowledge of real-time control principles essential
PLC Programming.
Mechatronics or computer science degree or essential experience
Must have a full, clean UK driving licence for travel between sites.
