IT Systems Application Support Specialist

Key Responsibilities:

Provide application support for various IT systems, specifically data centre monitoring and reporting applications.
Troubleshoot and resolve network-related issues related to data centre management networks in enterprise environments.
Provide support to internal resources for Microsoft applications.
Utilize working knowledge of Microsoft 365 applications to assist internal teams.

Requirements:

Networking Knowledge: A solid understanding of network concepts and related technologies is preferred but not essential.
Experience: Previous experience in enterprise network environments is beneficial but not mandatory.
IT Infrastructure: Proficiency in IT infrastructure, including servers, storage, and network hardware and protocols, is advantageous.
Programming Languages: Basic proficiency in HTTP and familiarity with JAVA or Python.
Data Centre Expertise: Strong understanding of data centre environments and their underlying infrastructure.
Control Protocols: Competency in the following control protocols is required:
MODBUS/RTU
MODBUS/IP
BacNET IP
SNMP
IT Security Awareness: A general understanding of IT security principles and best practices.
