Description:

We are currently seeking a hands-on Applications / Project Engineer in Fareham to support the development and delivery of advanced touch and sensing technologies. This is a varied role combining product development, customer interaction, and technical support.

Key Responsibilities of a Applications / Project Engineer

* Develop, prototype, and validate touch, force, and haptics-based products

* Perform system testing, tuning, and firmware validation

* Act as a technical contact for customers, translating requirements into solutions

* Support projects from concept through to production

* Troubleshoot technical issues and provide on-site support when needed

* Assist the sales team with technical input and customer demonstrations

Requirements of a Applications / Project Engineer

* Degree in Electronics, Physics, or similar (or equivalent experience)

* Strong circuit analysis and hands-on hardware skills (including soldering)

* Basic programming/firmware knowledge (e.g. C, Python)

* Structured problem-solving approach

Desirable: experience with EMC testing, capacitive sensing, or CAD/3D tools
