Application Engineer - DV Cleared - £550.00 per day Outside IR35 - Onsite
Day Rate: Up to £550.00 per day (Outside IR35)
Duration: 6 Months (Possible Extensions)
Office Locations: Cheltenham & London (5 days per week at either office is required)
Clearances: MUST HAVE Active DV Clearance
A Cheltenham based defence tech company are looking for a DV Cleared Application Engineer on a contract basis for at least the next 6 months.
You will be part of an on-site team responsible for maintaining and supporting a managed cross-domain service utilizing diverse technologies, platforms, and tools.
The team uses site reliability engineering tools and practices to continuously verify and enhance the service.
Key Skills & Experience:
Experience working in a managed service environment with a strong focus on service delivery and customer outcomes
Application development using Java or similar
Git version control
Critical thinker with the ability to analyse problems, test hypotheses, and make informed risk decisions
Ability to quickly prioritize tasks and adapt to changing priorities during incident response scenarios
It would be a bonus if you had any experience of application deployment and administration using micro-service architectures, asynchronous messaging, terraform/ansible or Oracle.
