Anti-Social Behaviour Officer
Cardiff (citywide)
Umbrella Pay- £18.30 per hour
01/07/2024 – 3 months initially
Monday to Friday, 9am – 5pm, 37 hrs/week

Provide support in tackling anti-social behaviour across the city for council tenants and leaseholders
Visit both the victims and alleged perpetrators of ASB in their own home in relation to potential breaches of their tenancy agreement
Visit problem locations as they occur to obtain direct evidence
Offer advice, gather evidence, take statements and create actions plans
Work in partnership with council service areas, police and other partners to gather and analyse evidence of anti-social behaviour and to develop appropriate responses
Ensure all necessary actions are taken to resolve anti-social behaviour
Keep victims informed of progress in relation to their case
Look at causes of anti-social behaviour and ensure all options are considered such as regeneration of areas for positive impact
Be aware of and make use of all relevant legislation and powers in relation to tackling anti-social behaviour
Keep and maintain records of all case work
Regularly review all ongoing cases with management to ensure action is taken
Prepare case files and attend court to give evidence when necessary Requirements

Experience of working within a housing related environment
Experience of evidence gathering and case management
Experience of dealing sympathetically with public enquiries and complaints
Demonstrates an understanding of health and safety requirements
Able to work with flexibility as some evening and weekend working may be required
Enhanced DBS registered to the update service
