Title: Analytical Scientist x2 (Standard Analyst and Peptide Analyst)

We are currently working with a global leader in industry investing in their Analytical department with an exciting avenue in peptide research.
Two roles are available. One is looking for a Pharmaceutical Analyst with experience in HPLC, LC-MS, GC and SFC. The other role is looking for the above experience, but with experience working with peptides and/or oligonucleotides. The successful candidate will support the analytical development for some of their API R&D projects and work closely as part of a multi-disciplinary team with R&D and Process Development scientists.
Method Development and Method Validation knowledge/experience is a must. Even if it's only a few months.
The main duties and responsibilities will include:
Development and optimisation of analytical methods
Characterising intermediates and APIs using a range of analytical techniques.
Collaborating closely with a range of internal stakeholders to help define project milestones and deliverables.
Compiling clear and concise reports summarising your work.
Required Experience:
A higher education qualification in analytical chemistry, chemistry or biochemistry
Experience in chromatographic method development (UHPLC, LC-MS, GC, SFC) preferably within a pharmaceutical environment.
For the Peptide Analyst: Experience working with peptides or oligonucleotides: Highly desirable, Experience with ELISA, or SDS-Page
