Description:
Our client has an opportunity for an Aircraft Electrical Fitter to join them on a contract basis until the end of the year. The Aircraft Electrical Fitter is responsible for assisting in the movement, Line and Base Maintenance of the UK MFTS (RW) H135/H145 fleet.
Role: Aircraft Electrical Fitter
Location: RAF Valley - Wales. Fully onsite
Hours: 40 per week - shifts TBC
Hourly Rate: £28.16 per hour via Umbrella, inside IR35
Clearance: BPSS required before starting, full SC to follow
What you'll be doing:
Provide engineering operational support to Flight Operations.
Accomplishment of Maintenance inspections and repairs as directed by nominated Shift Supervisor or Certifying Engineer.
Work to high standards to ensure continued safe operation of the aircraft.
Completion of maintenance, including avionic and electrical systems in accordance with written instructions laid down by OEM.
Conduct off-aircraft technical work in workshops as required.
Also required to assist in day to day running of the aircraft Hangar, including aircraft movement and general housekeeping responsibilities. Requirements:
Apprenticeship in Aircraft Maintenance or related discipline.
Must have thorough knowledge of electrical and avionic systems.
Knowledge of specialised test equipment relating to electrical and avionic systems.
Must have up to date knowledge of:
Flight/Airport Operations
Aircraft Line Maintenance
