Air Import Coordinator
Location: London Heathrow
Salary: Up to £38,000
Hours: Monday - Friday, 09:00 - 17:30
The Opportunity
A well-established and globally recognised logistics provider is seeking an experienced Air Import Coordinator to join their team based at Heathrow. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a forward-thinking business offering stability, growth, and a professional working environment.
The Role
You will be responsible for managing the full air import process, ensuring shipments are handled efficiently, compliantly, and in line with customer expectations.
Key Responsibilities
Handling air import shipments from start to finish
Liaising with airlines, overseas agents, and customers
Completing and checking customs entries in line with HMRC regulations
Monitoring shipment progress and providing timely updates
Managing documentation and ensuring compliance at all stages
Resolving any shipment issues quickly and professionally
Requirements
Proven experience in air freight imports
Strong knowledge of customs procedures and documentation
Experience within a freight forwarding environment
Excellent communication and organisational skills
