Air Export Operator

Description:

We are seeking an experienced Air Export Coordinator to join our clients growing logistics team. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated individual with a background in aviation or aerospace logistics who is looking to develop their career within a dynamic and expanding business.
The successful candidate will be responsible for managing export shipments from booking through to delivery, ensuring all customer requirements are met whilst maintaining the highest levels of service and operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
* Coordinate and manage air export shipments from origin through to final destination.
* Liaise with customers, airlines, overseas agents, and transport providers.
* Prepare and process all export documentation accurately and efficiently.
* Monitor shipment progress and proactively communicate updates to customers.
* Ensure compliance with industry regulations and company procedures.
* Support multi-modal freight movements, including air, road, and courier services where required.
* Resolve operational issues and provide effective solutions in a timely manner.
* Maintain strong customer relationships through excellent service delivery.
Requirements
Essential
* Previous experience within aviation logistics or aerospace logistics.
* Proven experience within air export operations.
* Stable employment history demonstrating commitment and longevity in previous roles.
* Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple shipments and deadlines.
* Excellent communication and customer service skills.
* Flexible approach to working hours and operational requirements.
Desirable
* Experience using BoxTop software.
* Multi-modal freight forwarding experience across air, road, and courier services.
* Knowledge of time-critical or specialist logistics operations.
