Description:
Our client, a freight forwarder is looking for a Export Airfreight Operator to join their office in Feltham.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage export shipments from booking through to final delivery
* Act as the primary point of contact for customer enquiries and updates
* Liaise with customers, suppliers, freight forwarders, and overseas agents
* Ensure all export documentation and invoicing is completed accurately and in a timely manner
* Track shipments and proactively provide status updates to clients
* Coordinate with internal departments to meet operational deadlines and service expectations
* Maintain accurate records and support operational reporting requirements
* Manage financial aspects of shipments, ensuring costs, charges, and invoicing are accurate and aligned to maintain profitability
About the candidate
* Some previous experience within export coordination or a logistics environment
* Strong communication skills with the ability to build effective working relationships
* Highly organised with excellent attention to detail
* Comfortable managing multiple tasks and shipments in a fast-paced setting
* Strong organisational skills with solid basic maths ability to ensure processes are followed and financial elements are understood
* Ability to manage and check financial data to ensure accuracy and support overall profitability
* A proactive, solution-focused mindset with a willingness to learn and develop
