Air Conditioning/Refrigeration Service Engineer

Escape Recruitment has a new opportunity available to join a building services contractor based in Edinburgh who is recruiting for an Air Conditioning/Refrigeration Engineer to join their mobile maintenance team.

Your role will be mobile, covering various sites within the Edinburgh area/ Fife/ east of Scotland area generally.
Carrying out PPM and reactive maintenance of the building fabric for all associated commercial buildings.

Your role will be to carry out fault finding, service, repair, and maintenance (PPM and reactive) working across Air conditioning, Ventilation, Refrigeration systems and Chillers.

Main duties and responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

Responsible for carrying out all associated PPM and reactive maintenance of Air Conditioning, Ventilation, Refrigeration systems, and Chillers.
Ensuring all health and safety is being adhered to.
Ensuring all paperwork is correct and kept up to date.
Ensuring all compliance paperwork is complete and up to date.
Working overtime to ensure all client requirements are met.
Taking an active role in the on-call rota to ensure all client's needs are met even outwith normal working hours.

Skills, Experience, and Qualifications:

You will have completed an apprenticeship with Air Conditioning/ Refrigeration Engineering or equivalent.
Holding an SVQ Level 3 in Air Conditioning ideally.
Holding City & Guilds FGas 2079 is essential.
You will possess a great working knowledge of all AC systems.
A good understanding of Ventilation, Refrigeration systems and Chillers would be advantageous.
Experience of carrying out PPM and reactive maintenance.
You will ideally have existing experience within a busy, FM environment.
Full driving UK licence (6 points maximum).
Happy to complete Disclosure Scotland.

Salary:

£40,000+ for the right person - open to discussing depending on skillset and experience held.
Van + fuel card.
Mobile/ PDA system.
