Air Conditioning / Refrigeration Engineer
Location: Field Based, Covering Scotland - Glasgow HQ
Salary: £33,000 - £40,000 per year, DOE + Benefits
Contract: Full Time, Permanent
Hours: Monday to Friday (Monday - Thursday 8am - 4.30pm, Friday - 8am - 3.30pm)

we are currently recruiting for an experienced Refrigeration / Air conditioning Engineer to work on Commercial Refrigeration systems.

Air Conditioning / Refrigeration Engineer - The Role
Following continued growth, we are seeking an experienced, confident, Air-Conditioning Installation Engineer to join our team in Scotland.
Main duties (not limited to) will include: Carrying out Installation and commissioning of commercial HVAC Projects.
You will work with an apprentice and will work as a sole team and with additional teams at times depending on project size & scale.
Tasks and Responsibilities:
* Full A/C system installations, F-Gas checks, completing paperwork.
* Pressure testing, leak finding, repairs, recharging & re-commissioning.
* Calculating refrigerant gas charges, completing F-Gas labels and paperwork.
* Reading and working to construction drawings, preparing material take-offs etc.
Air Conditioning / Refrigeration Engineer - Qualifications, Skills and experience?
The successful Engineer will have a proven track record of Air Conditioning Installation and commissioning of VRV Systems, Single & Twin Splits and be able to demonstrate a strong focus on good communication skills and a pro-active attitude.
A positive mindset is essential and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment within a team.
* At least 3 years' experience (post apprenticeship) installing A/C systems.
* NVQ Level 3 City & Guilds Refrigeration & Air Conditioning (not essential).
* FGAS Refrigerant Handling (City & Guilds 2079).
* Good communication skills (written and oral).
* CSCS card (Essential), IPAF, PASMA (preferred - not essential).
* The successful candidate should be capable of having a flexible approach to the work being carried out and work well independently as well as part of a team.
* A full UK driving licence.
