Air Conditioning Installation Engineer
Location: Sheffield and surrounding areas
Salary: £40,000–£48,000+ DOE

We’re looking for an experienced Air Conditioning Installation Engineer, working across Sheffield and the surrounding areas on a variety of domestic and commercial contracts.
This is an excellent opportunity for an engineer who enjoys installation work, wants a good balance between installation and occasional service work, and is looking for a competitive salary with great benefits and minimal out-of-hours call-outs.
We’re offering salaries from around £40,000, rising to £48,000+ for engineers who can confidently survey, specify and quote installations.
The Role
Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:
* Installing air conditioning systems across domestic and commercial properties.
* Carrying out installations to a high standard, ensuring systems operate efficiently and reliably.
* Undertaking occasional fault-finding, diagnostics and maintenance when required.
* Surveying sites and assessing customer requirements for new installations, where experienced.
* Specifying suitable air conditioning systems and preparing quotations for installation projects, where capable.
* Working professionally with customers and maintaining high standards of workmanship, safety and customer service.
What We’re Looking For:
* Previous experience as an Air Conditioning Installation Engineer.
* Strong practical knowledge of air conditioning installation and associated systems.
* The ability to work independently and manage installation jobs effectively.
* Good fault-finding skills and a willingness to assist with maintenance when required.
* F-Gas qualifications and relevant industry certifications.
* A full UK driving licence.
* Additional earning potential for engineers who can carry out site surveys, specify systems and produce installation quotations.
