Salary: £45,000 - £50,000 + Overtime + Company Vehicle

About the Air conditioning engineer Role

An established and expanding provider of plumbing, heating and HVAC services is looking to recruit an experienced Air Conditioning Engineer to join its growing engineering team.

Working across commercial and domestic properties throughout the UK, you'll be responsible for delivering high-quality installation, servicing, maintenance and repair work while maintaining excellent standards of workmanship and customer service. Although the role covers sites nationwide, candidates based in or around Manchester are preferred.

Key Responsibilities for the Air Conditioning Engineer

As an Air Conditioning Engineer, your duties will include:

* Installing split, multi-split, VRF and VRV air conditioning systems.

* Carrying out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) across a variety of commercial and domestic sites.

* Servicing, fault-finding and repairing a wide range of air conditioning equipment.

* Commissioning newly installed systems.

* Responding to reactive breakdowns and emergency call-outs.

* Completing digital job reports accurately and efficiently.

* Liaising professionally with customers and the office team to provide regular updates.

* Working safely at all times and ensuring compliance with current health and safety standards.

What We're Looking For in the air conditioning engineer

Essential

* Previous experience installing, servicing and maintaining air conditioning systems.

* Strong fault-finding and diagnostic abilities.

* Full UK driving licence.

* Excellent communication and customer service skills.

* Able to work independently while also contributing as part of a wider engineering team.

* High attention to detail with a commitment to delivering quality workmanship.

Desirable

* Experience working with manufacturers such as Mitsubishi Electric, Daikin, Fujitsu, Panasonic and LG.

* IPAF and/or PASMA certification.

* CSCS Card.

* Experience working with ventilation systems.

* Electrical qualifications, including 18th Edition, would be advantageous.
