Air Conditioning Engineer – HVAC & Building Services
Northumberland / North East | Circa £45,000 DOE | Permanent
Are you an Air Conditioning Engineer with broader HVAC and plumbing skills, looking for a varied role covering a small number of sites?
H9 Talent Solutions is recruiting for an engineer to join an established building services provider, supporting planned and reactive maintenance across two sites in Northumberland.
You will primarily work at one location, with responsibility for supporting a second site within the region. This would suit someone whose main trade is air conditioning, with the practical skills to undertake wider HVAC and plumbing work.
The role
* Carry out planned preventative maintenance on air conditioning and HVAC systems.
* Diagnose faults, respond to breakdowns and complete reactive repairs.
* Undertake plumbing maintenance and small installation works.
* Identify recurring faults and recommend improvements.
* Maintain accurate job reports and maintenance records.
* Work closely with site contacts and the wider engineering team to keep buildings operating safely and efficiently.
What we’re looking for
* A recognised air conditioning or refrigeration qualification and relevant F-Gas certification.
* Strong experience in air conditioning servicing, maintenance and fault-finding.
* Practical HVAC and plumbing maintenance and installation skills.
* Experience carrying out planned and reactive building maintenance.
* Previous experience within MOD or other secure environments would be advantageous.
* The ability to work independently, organise your workload and communicate clearly.
* A full UK driving licence.
